For the owner. For the dog.

Better understanding.
Stronger partnership.

Being a better dog owner is about more than teaching commands.

It’s about understanding the dog you have: how they think, what motivates them, how they communicate and how you can become the owner they need.

We’ve designed this two-day course to give everyday dog owners the knowledge, skills and confidence to build a better relationship with their dog — and keep developing it long after the course is over.

Understand your dog

Learn about breed characteristics, fulfilment, communication and how dogs learn.

Handle with confidence

Put the theory into practice through guided, real-life training with your dog.

Build a better bond

Develop clearer communication and the right foundations for life together.

Two days. One stronger partnership.

Learn it. Then live it.

A day to build the foundations. A day to put them into practice with your own dog.

Saturday 14 November · 9am–4pm

Day 2 — Practical

With your own dog

Take what you learned on day one and apply it in real-life situations, with trainer guidance, support and feedback.

  • Timing of markers and reinforcement
  • Structured play and impulse control
  • Confident handling techniques
  • Building confidence in both dog and owner
  • Engagement and working around distractions
  • Practical group training sessions
  • Trainer guidance, support and feedback
  • Finishing with an open Q&A session
