The plan needs to be clearer.
Reactive behaviour can make simple things feel like a daily negotiation. We look at what is happening underneath the barking, lunging or pulling, then give you practical steps you can use outside the training field.
Six weeks of thoughtful,
practical progress.
Personalised training for the dog in front of you, with owner education and ongoing support that makes the work usable beyond a session.
Private specialist sessions
Six one-to-one sessions built around your dog, your routes and the triggers that matter in real life.
Safe group practice
Four structured group sessions create carefully managed opportunities to practise around other dogs.
Online Dog School
Videos, guides and live Q&A help the learning keep moving between sessions.
60 days of WhatsApp support
When a walk does not go to plan, you have somewhere to ask what to do next.
What happens across
the six weeks.
We build understanding, practise the skill, then help you use it when life gets busy.
Understand the trigger
We start with the detail: what your dog notices, how quickly they escalate and what your current walks look like.
Build the communication
You learn how to read early signals and make choices that are clear, timely and fair.
Practise at the right distance
Private and structured group sessions introduce distractions without rushing the process.
Take it into ordinary life
Feedback between sessions helps the skills become part of your routine.

There is no standard dog in a standard situation.
We pay attention to your dog’s history, the environment, the lead, the distance and what happens before a reaction.
The aim is not to make your dog silent. It is to help you both make better decisions, sooner, with more confidence.
Support that respects the dog and the person holding the lead.
Next Level Dog School is based in Nottinghamshire and focuses on practical, real-world training: individual attention, clear explanations and a plan you can actually use when the pavement is busy.
The Next Level standard
Calmer walks start with better information. The focus is on understanding what to do, not just what to stop.
Built around real life
- Experienced trainers who observe before advising.
- Owner education built into every stage.
- Support between sessions when questions appear.
A programme for owners
ready to practise.
Being ready does not mean having a perfect dog. It means being open to learning what your dog is communicating and putting the work into the week between sessions.
This may be for you if…
- You dread certain walks and want a sensible plan.
- You are willing to practise small changes consistently.
- You want support that looks at the whole situation.
- You value calm, practical training over quick fixes.
- You want to feel more capable at the end of a walk.
It may not be for you if…
- You are looking for a guaranteed cure or instant result.
- You are not able to complete the required homework.
- You want a one-off session without follow-through.
- You expect every dog to respond in the same way.
- You are not ready to discuss whether another service is safer.
Same dog. Better information.
More workable walks.
Without a clear plan
- Spotting a trigger feels like an emergency.
- You spend more time avoiding than enjoying the walk.
- Every reaction leaves you questioning what went wrong.
- Progress is hard to see because the goal keeps moving.
With structured support
- You recognise earlier signs and know your next step.
- You can choose routes and distances with more confidence.
- You understand what to practise after a difficult day.
- You measure progress in useful, everyday moments.
Clear support.
Nothing hidden.
These are programme inclusions, not promises of a particular outcome. Every dog’s progress is individual.

make things clearer.
Is this programme suitable for every reactive dog?
The first step is an honest conversation about your dog, your triggers and your goals. We will tell you whether the programme is the right fit, and what support is safest if it is not.
Will sessions take place around other dogs?
Some will. The group sessions are structured so you can practise at a sensible distance with guidance. We do not put dogs into overwhelming situations for the sake of it.
What does the homework involve?
You will leave with practical exercises that fit everyday life. The right amount depends on your dog and your starting point, but consistency between sessions matters.
Is there a guaranteed cure?
No. Behaviour is individual and progress is not linear. The improvement commitment is designed for owners who complete the programme and required homework but have not achieved major improvements, subject to final terms approval.
Complete the programme and homework, and we will look closely at progress with you.
Where a qualifying owner has not achieved major improvements, the current commitment is to provide two additional one-to-one sessions. This is an improvement commitment, not a guaranteed cure, and final terms require approval before publication.
